La Brise is a beautiful 6 bedroom holiday home near Bordeaux, France.  Complete with private 9m x 5m swimming pool and commanding views on 3 sides over vineyards and stunning French countryside.  The west terrace is ideal for watching the setting sun over the vines whilst the balcony is superb to start a beautiful day watching the sun rise.

The house is situated on a hill on a quiet country lane with more than an acre of gardens.
There are no near neighbours so La Brise provides a tranquil setting for rest and relaxation, complete with a lovely private pool.

This large house is in an ideal setting giving you elegant holiday accommodation, whilst offering modern facilities to suit discerning guests.
The property has been restored and furnished to a high standard. The beautiful original features have been retained, including exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and a wonderful open fireplace.

For the winter months the entire house can be centrally heated. An additional charge is payable based on fuel consumption.

The house is set 5 miles from the XIII century bastide town of Duras (47). A comprehensive supermarket and petrol station 5 miles away. The market square is host to restaurants, cafés, bars, boulangerie, pharmacie, banks with atm's, supermarket, weekly traditional French market and a night market during the summer months.
There are many festivals and events going on through out the region including a very popular annual Jazz festival held in early July in Monsegur 8 miles away and several events at the Chateau de Duras.

There is also a smaller selection of facilities at the pretty hamlet of St Sernin, approximately just over 1 mile away, including tennis courts, vineyard, pizzeria, small shop & tourist information office.  Guided walking tours of the local area are available.

Laundry area with washing machine, dishwasher, iron/ironing board and washing line.

Beautiful large spacious living room with satellite tv/radio and widescreen TV. Channels being British 'Freesat' and French free channels.  Triple aspect views through windows on 3 sides of the house.
Original large stone fireplace. Under floor heating is also available at an additional cost in winter months.

Cleaning/towels/linen:

Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided and are included in the price.

Outside

9m x 5m pool, sun terrace and loungers. The pool is protected by an alarm.

The beautiful private pool is 9m x 5m, paved terrace and surrounded by lawned gardens.
There are no neighbouring properties so the pool is not overlooked.

There are country walks from the house in the vines and the woods, organised walks are also available from the village tourist information office just down the road.
The local vineyard is in walking distance, and offers an informative & interesting tour as well as tastings. Details available on request.

For guests that have disabilities, the very young or for the slightly older, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are on the ground floor.
