More than 20 years of holiday rental experience
Our story began in 2005 with Gites de Bordeaux, after we fell in love with the area and bought our own holiday home in Monsegur, near Bordeaux, France.
Holiday Cottages and Villas followed in 2011 as the business and property portfolio expanded. Today, we remain a husband-and-wife team, combining more than 20 years of experience with the personal service on which the business was built.
We have developed long-standing relationships with property owners, guests and local businesses, together with an established track record in marketing and managing bookings for privately owned holiday homes.
A personal service for holiday home owners
We deliberately remain a personal, hands-on business. We know the properties we represent and work closely with owners to present their homes effectively and attract the right guests.
Every property is personally assessed before joining our portfolio. We will give you honest, constructive feedback about your property, its rental potential and any changes we believe could improve its appeal to guests.
We are always interested in hearing from owners of well-presented holiday homes that would complement our existing collection.
How we can help
Our marketing and booking service can take care of the administration involved in holiday letting, from enquiries and reservations through to payments, security bonds and guest reviews.
We also use our experience of the holiday rental market to advise on property presentation, pricing and ways of improving its appeal to potential guests.
Our aim is not simply to add as many properties as possible. We want to build successful, long-term relationships with owners while maintaining a carefully selected portfolio that we can confidently recommend to our guests.
