Lamouroux is a spacious 5-bedroom holiday villa with a private fenced, gated and alarmed 10m x 5m swimming pool, just 600m from the shops, restaurant and café-bar in Allemans-du-Dropt between Bordeaux and Bergerac.
Designed for relaxed family and group holidays, Lamouroux has a practical single-storey layout with bedrooms positioned at opposite ends of the house.
A second fully equipped kitchen provides additional flexibility and privacy, particularly for multi-generational families or groups travelling together.
The historic village of Allemans-du-Dropt is approximately 600m away, with a restaurant, café-bar, boulangerie, boucherie, pharmacy, organic produce shop and public EV charging facilities.

Location
Lamouroux is situated in Allemans-du-Dropt, a historic village on the banks of the River Dropt between Bordeaux and Bergerac.
The village is known for its historic church with remarkable medieval frescoes, attractive riverside setting and lively programme of festivals and summer events.
Within approximately 600m of the property are a restaurant, café-bar, boulangerie, boucherie, pharmacy, organic produce shop and public EV charging point.
During the summer months, canoeing is available on the River Dropt, while the popular Mercredis Cachés music evenings bring live performances to unusual locations throughout the village.
The surrounding countryside offers vineyards, bastide towns, weekly markets and historic villages across southwest France.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms have ceiling fans and insect screens fitted to the windows.
A portable air-conditioning unit can be hired on request for £100 per week.

Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are grouped together and share 2 bathrooms.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 are positioned at the opposite end of the villa and each has convenient access to a nearby bathroom.
Bedroom 1: King-size bed (160cm x 200cm) with double doors opening onto the garden.
Bathroom 1 is adjacent and has a walk-in shower, bath, WC, bidet and twin washbasins.
Bedroom 2: King-size bed (150cm x 200cm).
Bathroom 2 is adjacent and has a bath with shower over, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom 3: Double bed (140cm x 190cm), plus a single bed with additional pull-out trundle bed.
Located near Bathroom 2.
Bedroom 4: King-size bed (150cm x 200cm).
En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and WC.
Bedroom 5: Twin beds (95cm x 190cm each).
Bathroom 4 is adjacent and has a bath with shower over, washbasin and WC.

Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are included in the price.
A complimentary additional supply of bed linen and bath towels is provided for bookings of 2 weeks or more.

The comfortable lounge is centred around a feature fireplace with log-burning stove.

Outside & gardens
The villa is surrounded by a spacious, predominantly lawned garden with mature trees and plenty of room for relaxing and outdoor activities.

A covered veranda offers shaded seating, while sun awnings and a separate outdoor dining and BBQ area provide further outdoor living space.
Private swimming pool
The private chlorine swimming pool measures 10m x 5m and is secured by a safety fence, lockable access gate and pool alarm.
The depth ranges from approximately 1.2m to 1.4m, with Roman steps providing access into the water.
An external WC is conveniently located nearby.
Private parking & EV charging
Private off-road driveway parking is available for several cars.
A public MobiVE EV charging point is approximately 600m away in the village centre.
Additional public charging points are available in Monsegur, Duras and Miramont-de-Guyenne.

A 25% deposit secures a reservation, with the balance payable 8 weeks before rental commencement.
A £500 security bond is pre-authorised against a credit card 7–10 days before arrival and released after departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection.

Lamouroux is situated just 600m from the centre of the historic village of Allemans-du-Dropt.
Nearby towns include Duras 12km, Eymet 12km, Monsegur 19km and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande 29km. The property is well placed for exploring the Lot-et-Garonne, Gironde and Dordogne, as well as the wider Bordeaux wine region.
Supermarkets, shops and restaurants can be found in the surrounding towns.
The nearest large supermarket is Intermarché Super Saint-Pardoux-Isaac in Miramont-de-Guyenne, approximately 8km away.

A public EV charging point operated by SDEE47 (MobiVE) is approximately 600m away at 2 Place de la Mairie, Allemans-du-Dropt.

Superb accommodation, a large, well-decorated and very well-equipped villa. Quiet location, large grounds. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful region. Numerous cultural and gastronomic attractions.

We had the most wonderful time staying here as a family of all ages. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even sourcing extra items for us on request. Communication was excellent both before arrival and during our stay. The place was spotless and so welcoming, with thoughtful extra touches like fresh bread, milk, and more — such a lovely surprise, and especially appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday when all the grocery stores were closed. The pool was a big hit with everyone, and we really enjoyed making use of the hosts’ local tips: a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant, amazing pizza from the truck in the square, a couple of beers at Christoph’s place, and pain aux raisins to die for at the boulangerie. Everywhere we went, the locals were so friendly and made a real fuss of the kids, which meant a lot to us.
A truly fabulous place to stay — highly recommended.

Thank you so much for pointing us to ‘Lamouroux’ in Allemans-du-Dropt, one of your newest properties. We returned home on Friday after a very happy week. The house provided a perfect arrangement for our extended family group. It was generously and thoughtfully equipped both inside and outside. The children had plenty of space to play in the garden and we all loved the pool. There were games to play inside on a rainy day and the kitchen had everything we needed to make mealtimes easy.
We all agreed at the end of the week that we’d like to go back to ‘Lamouroux’ next summer.
We need to mention that one of the garden parasols blew down in the wind while we were out one afternoon. I informed Neil (the helpful House Manager) and when Pascal came to service the pool he dismantled it, thinking it could be fixed. The central string had snapped and Pascal thought it could be replaced by a stronger cord. Please let us know if we should to contribute towards the cost.
We’re very glad to have discovered your company ‘Holiday Cottages and Villas’ this year for the first time. It was such a relief to have clear, straightforward communication when arranging our holiday. And the selection of properties gives an excellent choice. After arrival, it was wonderful to have Neil, the House Manager, available to help with questions about the pool.
We really enjoyed the recommended night market at Monteton and our early-morning walks to the boulangerie!
