4 couples stayed at the villa for one week. It exceeded our expectations.

We had no issue finding it or getting in. Finding some wine, cheese & bread was a welcome treat considering the long drive we had from Paris. Each couple had their own bedroom & washroom for privacy. Everyone said the beds were comfortable & tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very modern & equipped with everything we needed for meal prep. The property was well manicured with amazing views of the countryside. The pool was clean with lots of seating around it. The men even had a friendly pingpong & foozball tournament in the garage. On a personal note, one of our rentals broke down a km from the villa. With no one able to speak French, our host came over in the morning before work & made calls on our behalf to try & get the rental issues resolved.
We all felt she went above & beyond.

We had a wonderful week at Blanchet – it’s idyllic, and just what we needed for a laid-back, relaxing holiday, with great weather. The house is beautiful and we really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space. The swimming pool is stunning, and the kids spent most of their time there, just having fun and splashing around. Trips out to local day and night markets were good fun, and a good handful of local restaurants in nearby Monsegur and Duras. Highly recommended, and thank you to Tracy and Fiona for a special holiday.

Great house in a great region.

The house is lovely, spacious, and situated in a great location with great views. The house is well appointed, and the beds were good. Three of the bedrooms are located on the first floor.

There is a great terrace that wraps around most of the house, and that was where we spend most of the time. The kitchen worked really well and had all the essentials you need for cooking, which we did on most nights.

We walked to Monsegur one day, which I think is the closest village with bars and restaurants (I could be wrong). It is a bit of a hike, so you very definitely need a car.

The house has a nice big garden and a swimming pool, which we managed to use a couple of times. I would definitely rent the place again if opportunity arose.

Cheers
Martin
