Plaisir d’Eymet is a luxurious 80m² detached adults-only holiday lodge with a private heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam steam room, just 3km from the medieval bastide town of Eymet in the Dordogne, southwest France.
Eymet has a traditional weekly market together with a good selection of restaurants, cafés and shops.
All facilities at Plaisir d’Eymet are private for guests’ use.
Plaisir d’Eymet is one of four neighbouring luxury lodges. Three of the lodges, including Plaisir d’Eymet, are 5-star rated and offer similar facilities, while the smaller fourth lodge differs in size and specification. Each lodge is individually decorated and furnished. The accommodation is adults-only, although babies under 18 months are welcome.
The lodges are owned and managed by welcoming owners who live in a neighbouring property, separate from the guest accommodation.
Bedroom and bathroom
Luxury bedroom: Extra-large king-size bed (180cm x 200cm). The bedroom is air-conditioned, with reverse-cycle heating available when required, and includes a Bluetooth speaker and Smart TV with more than 400 French and English channels.
A large sliding door opens onto the terrace with panoramic countryside views. The windows and doors are fitted with electric shutters and blinds.
Luxury bathroom: The luxurious bathroom has a feature black-and-gold bath, walk-in rainfall shower, twin washbasins and electric towel radiator. Bathrobes, towels, slippers and a hairdryer are provided.
Fitted wardrobes are located outside the bedroom, next to a separate WC.
A baby package including a travel cot, high chair and baby bath can be provided on request.
Cleaning, towels and linen
Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are included in the price and are changed twice weekly.
Kitchen and dining
The air-conditioned kitchen is well equipped with a kettle, toaster, citrus press, single electric oven, 4-ring gas hob, built-in microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher with tablets provided, coffee machine with fresh coffee beans, and a selection of teas and infusions.
A full-width window and glazed door provide beautiful views across the neighbouring vineyard. The door opens onto a raised terrace with a table and chairs, ideal for enjoying the morning sun. Steps lead down to the lower terrace.
Office
An office space with a desk and computer is provided.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and there is also a good 4G mobile signal.
Air conditioning
Air conditioning in the bedroom and kitchen is included and can be used in reverse to provide heating during cooler months.
Private heated pool and hot tub
The private heated pool measures 7m x 3.5m and is accessed via in-pool steps
There are 2 sun loungers, a large parasol and a poolside shower.
The property faces southwest, so the pool terrace enjoys plenty of sunshine and beautiful sunset views.
The private hot tub is open and heated year-round.

Private spa room with hammam steam room
The private spa room includes a hammam steam room and large walk-in shower.
Private sauna
A private Scandinavian-style wooden barrel sauna is located just outside the spa room.
Outside terraces, garden and parking
There are several terrace areas. A terrace from the kitchen leads down via steps to the garden and pool terrace.
A raised terrace accessed from the bedroom enjoys beautiful countryside views and is an ideal place to sit and watch the sunset.
The lodge is surrounded by gardens, planted borders and interesting art installations.
The private gated driveway serves all four lodges. Plaisir d’Eymet has a dedicated parking space close to the path leading to the front door.

There are many towns, villages and châteaux to explore nearby. Local towns and villages host weekly markets, summer night markets and various festivals throughout the year.

No booking fee.
A 25% deposit secures a reservation, with the balance payable 8 weeks before rental commencement.
A £800 security bond is pre-authorised against a credit card 7–10 days before arrival and released after departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection.

Included in the Price
Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided and changed on Wednesdays and Saturdays for stays of 7 nights or more.

Private Heated Pool
The pool is open and heating is included from 18 April to 17 October 2026.
Please note that specific water temperatures cannot be guaranteed, as pool heating is influenced by weather conditions and other factors.
It may be possible to open and heat the pool outside these dates, subject to weather conditions.
Please note: Charging electric vehicles from the property’s electricity supply is not permitted.

Exploring the local area near Plaisir d’Eymet
Plaisir d’Eymet is just 23km from Bergerac and close to Eymet 3km, Lauzun 10km, Miramont-de-Guyenne 14km, Duras 23km and Monsegur 31km.
The property is situated in the Dordogne department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwest France.

The nearest large supermarket is Carrefour Contact Eymet, 1 Route de Bretou, 24500 Eymet, approximately 2.6km away and around a 5-minute drive.
