Fanastic Holiday at Villa Cabris
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We have been regularly visiting this area of the Cote D Azur for the past 15 years staying in various villas in the area, we can safely say the Villa Cabris is one of the best we’ve stayed at!

We always research where villas are located before booking because we like elevated positions with great views & Villa Cabris didn’t disappoint. It is situated in a very quiet, well-kept area away from any busy roads but still within easy reach of amenities. The pretty village of Cabris is lovely, there is an excellent supermarket just 5 minutes away & the A8 motorway is about 20 minutes drive making it very easy to explore the area.

The villa itself has a lovely feel about it & we felt instantly at home, the owners have clearly been busy over recent years carrying out improvements & it’s very tastefully decorated with modern bathrooms and a very well equipped good quality kitchen (with the exception of not having a kettle which we had to buy). The pool area is very secluded & a real suntrap. If we weren’t sitting by the pool then we spent our time on the lovely covered terrace which really does have the best views.

The directions & key instructions were very straightforward and the whole booking process could not have been easier; Tracy from Holiday Cottages & Villas was really helpful throughout.

The only area’s that could be improved were the air conditioning was broken when we arrived & although the owner was very quick & helpful in getting it fixed, this should really have been checked before our arrival. The remote controls for the air conditioning also needed new batteries. There is a lack of proper wardrobes in the main bedrooms & the hanging rails provided were not high enough for long clothes. The ironing board & iron were in pretty poor condition & need replacing and the floors could have been a bit cleaner. In general just a little more attention to detail prior to guests arrival would be good but these really are minor points. Overall we had a fantastic holiday & would highly recommend Villa Cabris.

Great Holiday Time
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Very nice house, great view to the cost side, house is well equipped with a modern kitchen, gas barbecue, nice pool with cleaning robot and, important escpecially in Mediterranean domicils: the beds are broad enough and equipped with 2 separate mattresses. Overall we recommand this holiday domicil. Back-payment of the security bond (600 pounds) worked fine – money came back automatically after 2 weeks
As “negative” points we found that the foot walk upwards the hill to Cabris – is pretty steep (need > 20 minutes), but this a naturally given thing due to the extraordinary position of the house. The drive way from the small public street to the property is in bad state and for central Europeans difficult to drive. We touched the ground with our normal cars (BMW 320, Ford Focus).

“The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and very cosy. We had a lovely time there and the host was superb! We’ll definitely go back one day soon.”

“We had a truly fantastic stay at this wonderful villa in Cabris. This place is wonderful and has one of the best views I have ever seen……period! The villa, perched 400 meters above sea-level, just gives the most breathtaking view, one that simply has to be experienced! The villa has all the mod-cons one could think of and more! This villa wants for nothing. The bedrooms are large and can comfortably host 8 if required. Located 2 minutes from Cabris and 10 mins from Grasse. The area is wonderful to explore and the locals are very friendly. There is a super-market located 5 minutes from the house that has everything one needs. To be honest this villa way exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a holiday in Provence. I will be back! :-)”
Jonathan & friends, Ireland. September 2015

“Villa Cabris was simply amazing. I shared it with a group of 6 friends, and there was more than enough room for all of us. Calle made us feel incredibly welcome — all our essentials were provided for, and he even left us some wine! The view from this place cannot be described. Although you’re very close to Cabris and Cannes, good luck pulling yourself away from the pool to visit! We had a great time swimming and grilling outside. My friends and I are already discussing plans to stay here again. It will be a vacation you don’t forget.”
