Spa Eynesse is a large and welcoming country French holiday home perfect for a group of friends or family. Both stylish and truly child friendly with a private fenced and gated outdoor, heated swimming pool as well as an indoor heated small exercise pool & separate jacuzzi hot tub. Located close to Bergerac and near Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, set in the Dordogne region south west France
Please note that the maximum permitted number of guests is 14 including children and babies.
This holiday house is located on the outskirts of a small, quaint village, Spa Eynesse offers you exclusive use of all amenities, in a location convenient for The Dordogne, Bordeaux & St Emilion. The owners have thoughtfully catered for practically every need possible from a well-stocked DVD library, hair dryers, room fans, toys to entertain the children through to a complimentary baby/toddler pack so you can pack light, arrive, relax and unwind and enjoy your stay!
Kitchen & Utility
The kitchen is well-equipped with dining table, all of the modern conveniences including dishwashers, range cooker with 5 ring gas hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, irons and ironing boards, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and even your own herb garden!
There are 3 fantastic living rooms, allowing everyone space to do their own thing if you don’t want to be together all of the time.
The games room is set around a feature fireplace with comfortable sofas, large flatscreen TV, DVD Player, Ninetendo Wii and even has it’s own bar (as you can imagine, this room is often commandeered as “the mens room”!). Lovely views over the surrounding grounds and pool.
The 2nd living room is located next door to the games room, also with comfortable sofa’s and chairs and flatscreen TV.
Finally the 3rd living room is located at the opposite end of the house, adjacent to the kitchen and overlooking the lovely terrace.

Each bedroom is supplied with a room fan as well as hairdryer and nozzle – more room in the suitcase for souvenirs!

This wonderful adults only area really does make you feel as if you are in a posh hotel. This newly renovated room, with Italian quartz tiles & original Bordeaux wine vat, offers the perfect place to relax and unwind under the mood lighting. There is jacuzzi hot tub or if you are feeling a bit more energetic rack up some virtual lengths in the indoor heated exercise pool (4m x 2m). This small exercise pool has all the jets, bubbles and lights of a hot tub, but room for a swim against the counter current jets. There is also an IPod dock so you can listen to some sounds as you chill out.
The water is tested twice daily and the spa emptied/refilled for each set of guests (therefore on your arrival day the spa may not have reached temperature).
Acres of space and large fenced gardens wrap around the house, offering a safe environment for your little ones to charge around and enjoy the freedom of the countryside. There are plenty of activities to enjoy including football and volleyball nets, trampoline (with net), table tennis, swings slide and climbing frame, paddling pool and sand pit.
The large heated 10m x 5m pool is up to 2m deep at the deepest end, has walk-in Roman end steps and is securely fenced and gated.

A shopping service prior to your arrival can be arranged as is complimentary for spends up to €100. Anything over this amount is charged at a nominal fee of 10% of the overall bill.
A babysitting service can also be provided.
The Dordogne river is some 500 metres away, local village shop c.1km, market town & supermarkets c.8km via quiet country roads.
For wedding guests at Chateau Rigaud (15 mins) & Chateau Soulac (10 mins), Spa Eynesse is accessible via quiet country roads.
St Emilion & Bergerac are approximately 30 mins & Bordeaux 60 mins
An ideal central location to explore Bordeaux, Bergerac & the Dordogne.
Coast / Beach
There are 2 lakeside beaches within 15 minutes of Spa Eynesse which are a popular attraction to take children for a day out. The gently shelving sand provides a safe, fun environment for splashing around and cooling off in the summer sun.
Further a field, approximately 90 mins drive away, is the 150 mile long sandy beach at Arcachon and Biscarosse. If you have the energy climb the highest sand dune in Europe at Biscarosse, or while the day away meandering around the streets of cosmopolitan Arcachon and enjoy a relaxing lunch in one of the many French restaurants.

The local area and what to do, Bordeaux and the Dordogne, France
Situated in the region of Aquitaine within the Bordeaux wine region and on the border of the Dordogne, Gironde and Lot et Garonne, France.
Bordeaux is approximately just over an hour drive to the west and Bergerac is 30 minutes to the east, St Emilion 30 minutes north west.
This is the ideal base from which to explore South West France. Located in the region of Aquitaine on the 3 borders of Gironde / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne and is considered to be one of the most picturesque areas of France.
The gently rolling countryside is a pleasure to explore, with excellent roads winding their way through fields and vineyards. Perfect cycling country!
The market squares are also hosts the many festivals and events throughout the year.
Wine and Gastronomy
The Bordeaux wine region has 21 appellations. Visit some of the many local Caves and Chateau who offer free tastings and tours while you choose a bottle or two.
Not to be missed is the world famous St Emilion, just a short drive away. A designated world heritage site and is truly stunning. Explore characteristic narrow lanes lined with wine merchants, cafes, restaurants and interesting independent shops. A guided tour of the monolithic church is highly recommended.

This designated world heritage site is a must for all visitors. This cosmopolitan city offers a diverse range of attractions. The golden triangle has a fabulous range of shops for those shopaholics.
A rich variety of architecture forms the backdrop for the street cafe’s, restaurants, bars and not forgetting the superb Grand Theatre.
The Dordogne is just one of the many places to visit for day trips. Anything from Canoeing or boat trips on the Dordogne river to exploring ancient villages.

The countryside around our properties is popular for cycling, whether it’s just a gentle ride around to explore or, if you are a keen cyclist, a long training ride on fantastic stretches of road to get the blood pumping whilst taking in the fantastic views.

The Atlantic coast, with over 150 miles of golden sandy beaches is less than one and a half hours drive away. Great fun for all the family, simply relax and soak up the sun or try your hand at surfing. Alternatively there are also fresh water lakes with a beach and facilities. The nearest is at Blasimon (about 30 minutes drive) and is very popular with families.
Dordogne river boat trips on the are available in Bergerac.
There are many pay and play golf courses within the area, the best being the beautiful Chateau Des Vigiers Golf and Country Club. The chateau dates back to 1597 and is set in 450 acres of stunning countryside. Facilities also include a fine restaurant and relaxing beauty spa.

Night markets from 1st of July till End of August, very successful, where you can eat and dance, with many craft and food stands. Go early if you want to park close to the village.
