Trespontets is a nicely presented holiday home with an above-ground private *heated swimming pool, oak-framed shaded pergola, games room and a large garden. Located between Bordeaux, Bergerac and Saint Emilion near the border of the Dordogne in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region of France
All facilities are for your exclusive use during your stay.
4km to the picturesque village of Allemans du Dropt, sat on the River Dropt, with butchers, boulangerie, canoeing, and a friendly bar and restaurant. There is a 9 hole golf course within a 15-minute drive. The historic town of Duras, with the famous Chateau Duras, is just 8km away, where you will also find a selection of shops, cafe bars and restaurants as well as a weekly market on Monday mornings and popular night markets every Thursday in the peak summer months.
2 acres of gardens surround the two properties, each having its own separate driveway/parking.
The garden, which has a 40 ft Lime tree, is over two acres with well-kept lawns, shrubs, bushes, fruit trees and ample seating for relaxing lazy days and alfresco dining. It is equally good for outdoor games.
Trespontets is surrounded by great eateries; Monteton (3.5km), where the views are stunning, has a bohemian music bar, a fine dining restaurant and a 12th-century church. From this viewpoint, you can see the 13 bell towers of nearby churches across the vista. There are also several places to eat nearby by Monsegur (15km), Duras (8km) and Marmande (21km).
Trespontets consists of two self-contained properties, Maison de Tilleul and Maison du Peche, you are renting both properties.
Trespontets can be rented with an option to close Maison du Peche for a 10% reduction, if you wish to book Maison de Tilleul on its own please view the property webpage.
Maison de Tilleul
All accommodation is on the ground floor.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1. A spacious, luxurious room is full of light with a Super King Size bed (180cm x 200cm). Electric shutters to the windows. En-suite shower room and wc.
Bedroom 2. Single bed (90cm x 190cm) with the possibility to add another single bed if required. Electric shutters to the window.
Bedroom 3. Another spacious and luxuriously presented room with a Super King Size bed (180cm x 200cm). Electric shutters to windows and door.
Luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen. 1 x hairdryer and fans in each bedroom
Cleaning / towels / linen
Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. A complimentary change of bed linen and bath towels will be provided for stays of 2 weeks or more.
Shower room
Shared with bedrooms 2 and 3 a shower room with corner shower, basin unit and wc.
Bedroom 1 has an en-suite shower room and wc.
Kitchen
The well-equipped kitchen is modern with a lovely country feel and views over the grounds. Electric oven, Gas hob, Extractor fan, Washing machine, Dishwasher, Pantry cupboard with microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière, Island unit with stools, Fridge freezer.
Lounge and dining
Beautifully presented open-plan living space with two sets of double doors opening onto the alfresco eating area and gardens.
Wifi, comfortable 2 and 3-seater sofa, armchair, Dining table seats 8, 42 ” TV with UK English language Free to view channels, DVD player, iPod docking station, DVDs, Games.

Games room with table tennis and table football.
Outside Maison de Tilleul
An oak pergola frames the front of the house providing a superb shady alfresco area with table and chairs seating 10 people and a gas and charcoal BBQ, as well as a more relaxed seating area with exterior sofas and chairs.

Bedroom 1. Double bedroom, spacious bedroom with double bed (140cm x 190cm) and built-in wardrobes
Bedroom 2. Twin bedroom, bedroom with twin beds (90cm x 190cm each). Door opens onto the garden.

The private above ground pool measures 3.4m x 6m and is 1.2m deep with a decked surround with loungers and chairs.

The properties are situated on 2 acres of gardens with lots of lawn and mature trees, without any fence or border between the properties. Each property has its own separate driveway.

Reservation Information:
No booking fee.
A 25% deposit secures a reservation with the balance payable 8 weeks before rental commencement.
A security bond of £500 is pre-authorised against a credit card 7 – 10 days before arrival and will be cancelled subject to satisfactory inspection after departure.

A weekly change of bed linen and bath towels is supplied for bookings of 2 weeks or more.

Pool information:
The pool is open from the beginning of April until early November.
*Pool heating is included from 4th May 2024 – 20th September 2024, outside these dates pool heating if required is £150 per week or part week – bookable in advance.

Dog friendly:
1 dog is considered on request. An additional charge of £50 per booking, plus an additional security bond of £250 will apply.
Trespontets is set near the village of Allemans du Dropt 4.2km, by the River Dropt, with horse riding, canoeing, camping and a friendly bar and restaurant. There is a nearby 9 hole golf course within a 15-minute drive and many local walks, hikes and lakes for swimming.
The towns of Monsegur (15km) and Duras (8km) in the region of Aquitaine within the Bordeaux wine region and on the borders of the Dordogne, Gironde and Lot et Garonne, France.
Bordeaux city centre is a 100km drive to the west and Bergerac is 40km to the east, Saint Émilion 50km north.
Trespontets is an ideal base from which to explore South West France. Located in the region of Aquitaine on the 3 borders of Gironde / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne and is considered to be one of the most picturesque areas of France.

These two houses are amazing! Me and my family, with young kids, enjoyed our one week stay to the fullest. Perfect for two or big families. The houses are just as described, or even better! Super clean, fresh and lovely French style. It’s located at a beautiful area of France with lots of wine yards and sunflower fields. The little town of Duras is close, a 7 min drive, to the bakery/butcher/pharmacy/coffee bar/etc. We cannot wait to come back next year!

“We loved this house, it is so beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfy. We loved all the shady areas in the gardens and the pool was perfect for cooling down after sunbathing in the hot French sunshine! Duras is a lovely, traditional town and the local markets are well worth a visit. In short, we can well recommend this property for a lovely relaxing holiday!

“Privacy in beautiful farmland and vineyards, spacious house and yard. Newly updated and new pool. Fabulous restaurants in every direction, great kitchen fully equipped incl washer dryer plus outdoor BBQ. Large rooms to spread out in. Excellent beds and pillows. Big screen TV with satellite and DVD player. Nice outdoor table and furniture for dining al fresco. Historical castles nearby. Couldn’t be better.
