Château Beaulieu consists of two lovingly restored French holiday homes, you rent both properties together. An ideal quiet and comfortable holiday villa in France to relax in with friends and family, complete with a private secure fenced and gated swimming pool.

Nestled amongst ancient woodland and rolling hills, the properties retain their original charm and features combined with comfortable and chic furnishings befitting of the classic buildings.

Set on the owners 17th century Château estate but offering exclusive use of the large secure pool and your own privacy, the welcoming hospitable owners open their doors of its two properties to one of the most beautiful parts of Gascony.

Enjoy a tranquil holiday in the luxurious and unique atmosphere of this ancient family home.

The Orangery and The Stables are located opposite each other, you are renting both properties together, set around a pretty, spacious courtyard – the perfect place for alfresco dining to bring everyone together to enjoy the local produce of the region.

You rent both of these properties together, all facilities and both houses are for your exclusive use during your stay.

The Orangery:

Accommodating up to 8 people (+1 small child) with 4 bedrooms, large living space of 300m2. Traditional  wooden beams and bold rustic masonry are complemented by the ancient family portraits and deer antlers which adorn the old walls. Set on a gentle hill with spectacular views out over the grounds and valley.

Kitchen:
Spacious country style kitchen with a breakfast table, dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric oven, gas hob with 4 rings, extractor hood, double sink, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. French doors open onto a private terrace with outside table and chairs.

Dining room:
Set next to the kitchen this grand room has the feeling of a banquet hall with a large table that easily seats 8 people. It is possible to seat 17 people in this room with tables rearranged.

​Ground floor wc and utility room
A convenient ground floor wc is situated off of the dining room as is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Living rooms:
The comfortable and elegant formal sitting room is set around an ancient feature open fireplace. Dual aspect doors flood the room with light, opening onto the side of the property and the central courtyard.

A separate TV lounge is located on the upper floor and is also perfect as a chill out or play area.  French TV and DVD player.

The Stables:

Accommodating up to 9 people; large open plan living space of 300m2. 4 bedrooms, 1 of which is set on the ground floor with separate bathroom room & wc.

Generous interior space with a large colourful and convivial living room with open fire place.

Spacious and characterful kitchen with dining table comfortably seating 8 people, dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric oven, gas hob with 4 rings, extractor hood, double sink, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Washing machine located in utility area off of the kitchen. French doors opening onto a large private terrace with outside table and chairs and views over your own private woodland.

Contemporary and characterful room with twin beds (90cm x 190cm each). Next to a shower room with twin sinks and wc shared with a small lounge with sofa bed.

Bedroom 3 – Upper floor
Decorated in calming green colours with twin beds (90cm x 190cm each). Next to a shower room and wc shared with bedroom 4.

Bedroom 4 – Upper floor
Triple room with dual aspect windows and 3 single beds (90cm x 190cm each) which can be converted to a double plus a single if required. Next to a shower room and wc shared with bedroom 3.

Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.  Central heating upstairs.

Swimming pool
​The fabulous 12m x 6m private pool has a depth of 1.1m – 1.7m, walk-in steps and is fenced and gated for security with a double lock system (key and extra safety system at the top of the gate). The generously sized pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with loungers and looks over views of the spectacular countryside – the perfect spot to relax and unwind or for fun and games. The pool is private to these two properties.

The Grounds
Extensive 4 hectares of grounds surround the property, large mature woodlands offer shaded walks and quiet places to sit and read. The estate is more than 100 hectares.

A long private drive leads to your own parking area.

Traiteur or “chef” – the owner can arrange for delicious meals (traditional or fine dining) to be prepared and brought to you at the house, or for a dinner to be cooked for you on site.
Baby sitter – should you need any help with your little ones, for an evening or for a few days the owner can organise this for you.

The nearest bike hire is in Auch, 17km.

‘Le Florida’ in Castera Verduzan, restaurant gastronomique (40km), this is a lovely part of the Gers and great for a day trip with many beautiful villages and sights.

There are regular connections by train and bus  to Auch (18km)
– Agen: trains from Paris and Bordeaux arrive in Agen, most of them have a bus connection to Auch.

We highly recommend you to take your own car or hire one for your stay, Gascony is a very rural part of France with plenty of wonderful places to discover during your stay.

Reservation Information:

No booking fee.
A 25% deposit secures a reservation with the balance payable 8 weeks before rental commencement.
A refundable security bond of €1000 (£850) is payable on or prior to arrival. The bond will be refunded subject to a satisfactory inspection on your departure.
